To
apply for the HTIR/Globe Co-op Program, please
send the following materials to Co-op Program Office
at 3740 University Street, Eugene, Oregon
97405 U.S.A. Please note that in some
countries applicants will need to go through an HTIR
partnered agency, which will be responsible for all
preparatory details, pre-screening and visa
advising. Globe University will make all
decisions regarding admissions and issuing of the
I-20 form..
Important note: Please do email us if you have
not heard from us two weeks after submitting your
application. Also, due to many server's strict

1. APPLICATION
FORMS:
Completed and signed Application
Form.
Please make sure all information is written so it is
legible. This will enable the information to
be correct on the I-20.
1b.
EXPLANATION OF COSTS: Please
read and sign the
Cost Sheet
2.
COPY OF PASSPORT:
(If you have your passport now. Otherwise,
send a copy as soon as you receive the passport)
3.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT:
You must have, either,
(a) a copy of your own current Bank Statement
in US dollars that amounts to at least $20,800, or,
(b) a copy of your sponsor's bank statement
which amounts to at least $20,800.
If using a sponsor's bank statement, he/she
also needs to provide a letter of support states
that states, "I am the sponsor for _________ and I
intend to provide him/her with financial assistance
during his/her first year at Globe University, up
the amount of $______."
4. US DOLLAR CONVERSION:
Please note that if your (or your sponsor's) bank
statement is not in US dollars you will need to get
the conversion into US dollars by doing the
conversion on the internet. Just print
the page showing the conversion information
and include it with your bank statement.

TWO LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION: The recommendation letters
must come from someone who can review your work
skills, such as an employer , a co-worker, or a
professor whom has assessed your work ability.
The letters should provide an assessment of
the applicant's ability to successfully complete
graduate studies and succeed in an employment
situation.
6.
RESUME:
Your resume needs to
include your personal information (name, address,
email, and date of birth), work history, skills,
educational history, any research or publications in
your field, any honors or awards received, and any
organizations to which you belong.
7. STUDENT STATEMENT: 3-5
page, double space student statement of purpose that
includes an introductory paragraph and concludes
with a clear and concise summary of your
professional and personal goals and your plan to
achieve them. Supporting content should
include objectives based on your experiences,
observations and/or knowledge of the following
elements: emotional, educational and
professional strengths and challenges.
8.
EVIDENCE OF ENGLISH PROFICIENCY.
Sufficient evidence may be a TOEFL score of 550 or
more (213 computer base), or, evidence that
you have studied at least one year in a university
where English was the medium of instruction.
9.
EVIDENCE OF A BACHELOR DEGREE: Copies of your
Certificate/diploma/proof of Bachelor's degree.
If the document was awarded in an language
other than English, an English translation must also
be submitted. A bachelor degree in any major may
qualify an applicant for admission to the program.
A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 at the bachelor's
level is required but may be waived by the
Admissions Committee in consideration of special
circumstances.
Those
students whose background is not in business may
need to take pre-requisite course/s that will cover
essential topics needed to comprehend the CORE
subject material. The fee for pre-requisite courses
will be the current tuition rate.
10.
TRANSCRIPTS:
You will need to submit official transcripts in
original language as well as an English translation.
Transcripts need to show every year that you studied
at the university level as well as your high school
or secondary school. It is important that the
transcripts show all subjects taken and all grades
or marks earned for each subject. It also is very
helpful if the grading system of the university
is shown on each record. You will need to show you
have the equivalent of a 2.70 or greater GPA.
These transcripts need to be original or
attested transcripts.
11. SPOUSE AND DEPENDENTS:
If you plan to bring your spouse and/or
children you will need to provide copies of their
passports, marriage certificate (for spouse) along
with a letter giving the following details for each
family member you plan on bringing with you:
full name, date of birth, country of birth, and
country of citizenship. You also need to show an
increase in the bank statement of $6,000 per family
member that you are planning to bring with you.
